Are you ready for some FOOTBALL? This clinic is perfect for beginners and more experienced players who want to get a jumpstart on the upcoming Flag Football season. The clinic will stress fundamentals, teamwork, and positive competition in a fun, safe, non-contact environment. All ability levels are welcome.

This program is for those athletes who love basketball. This class will be run by a YMCA sports staff. This class will teach your young athlete the basic skills of basketball during an action-packed 75 minute class. All participants will get a t-shirt and medal in this program.
This is a intermediate level skate lesson on our outdoor rink. Must be able to do backward stroking and a snowplow stop.
Firday Night Lights Floor Hockey
This program is for the boys and girls who love floor hockey. Participants will learn skills and play floor hockey every week.. If you love floor hockey then this is the perfect program for you! All participants will receive T-shirt and medal in this program. Maximum 20 kids will be taken for each age group. First two weeks practice and skill building. The next five weeks games against fellow participants.

Bring your family to the High Ridge YMCA to participate in a Parents vs. Shorties (kids) basketball Tournament and Shoot Out. Pre-Alpha Penguins Skate Lessons
Ice Skate lessons on our outdoor ice rink. No skating ability necessary for this level.
Receive instruction from qualified ball players. Children will learn proper baseball techniques. The clinic will focus on pitching, base running, fielding, baseball fundamentals and batting. Participants will split into different age groups.
T-ball season is approaching and so are the local leagues. The Y offers rookie T-ball to prep players for the up-coming season. We will work on fundamentals such as throwing, catching, hitting and running bases. It is a FUN first class that everyone is encouraged to play regardless of your skill level.
This is a program that Magid, Joy of the Game, and the McCormick Tribune YMCA are hosting. It is a basketball clinic monthly.

Youth Baseball/Softball Clinics
This class is Spring Training for athletes interested in playing baseball or softball. Leagues start soon, so the Y is offering a program to develop fundamentals and skills necessary for the up-coming season. Each week will be a new skill such as hitting, pitching, throwing, in fielding, out fielding, and base running. All you need is a glove and the other equipment will be provided.
This is a class for children ages 7-14 with no sport experience needed. It will focus on training athletes through exercises to increase speed, agility, quickness, and jumping ability. Each participant will be able to have a workout routine and more knowledge for improvement.
This class is designed to introduce and reinforce the fundamentals of track and field events on our state of the art track. Participants will learn proper running, agility, throwing, and training techniques to get ready for the school year. There is no experience needed and all will benefit from the class.
Clinics are opened to High School Freshman-Seniors who are currently not on a club volleyball team. During the 2 hour clinics athletes will learn skills to help improve their volleyball techniques. These classes will go for 6 weeks, once a week; each week working on different volleyball skills.
Calling all women: come learn the fundamentals of basketball! Learn and develop shooting, dribbling, and defensive skills in an exciting and low-key environment. You will also learn basic game strategies as you participate in actual basketball games. This class is primarily for women over 40, but we will make exceptions
