Golf Beginner
This class is a parent participation program for young children who have never played golf before. Clubs will be provided.
Kids will learn the basic fundamentals of golf: putt, chip and hit with their irons. SNAG is a program run in conjunction with the Hook A Kid on Golf Foundation.
Gymnastics Beginner
Little to no experience in gymnastics. Will receive an introduction to all of the boy’s events. They will learn beginner skills such as rolls and cartwheels on floor, swings and hangs on parallel bars, rings and high bar and basics on pommel horse. Builds the strength and fundamentals to move on in gymnastics.
This class is great for young beginners with little to no experience in gymnastics. Will receive an introduction to all of the events. Builds the strength and fundamentals to move on in gymnastics.
Boys and girls will learn levels 1, 2 and 3 skills of tumbling. They will also work on the Tumble Trak and learn how to use the spring board (varies by local YMCA).

Parent and Child Toddlercize Play Day
This class provides a special time for parents and their toddlers to spend quality time together. We also provide experiences to help your child develop physical and social skills.
A perfect combination of dance and tumbling designed for the preschooler. Fundamentals of dance are taught during a graceful warm up and cool down. Then we switch to balls, ribbons and hoops for the last half of class.
Run, play, sing songs, work on socialization, dance and learn basic tumbling in this great tumbling class.
(Parent /Child Class) Here is a great chance for parents to participate with their child in a variety of fun activities that develop motor and listening skills. This introductory class features tumbling, climbing, jumping, and so much more. This is a great class to start building Healthy Lifestyles at a young age and will be a FUN experience for everyone.
An introductory class for preschool-age children ready to attend class without a parent or caregiver. Children will develop coordination, body awareness and gross motor skills while working on listening skills, following directions and social skills. Children will use all gymnastics equipment. Curriculum is designed to be progressive with a different gymnastics position and concentration each week.

Inline Skating Beginner
A great introduction to this challenging and fulfilling sport. The core elements are covered in this class; learning to get going and stopping; making turns and going down ramps. Safety tips will covered extensively. Helmets and knee pads are required to skate.
This class is designed for the beginner through intermediate skater. Our skate instructors will teach both flat land, rail, and ramp techniques in these exciting classes.
Martial Arts Beginner
This class will focus on basics including stretching, stances, kicks and basic forms. No uniforms are needed and participants should wear loose pants.
This class is geared toward white and yellow belt practitioners and individuals who are new to the martial arts. Students will be trained in the traditional Korean art of Tae Kwon Do (literally means "the art of kicking and punching"). They will learn Korean terminology and counting as well as falling, rolling, kicking, punching and self-defense skills. A strong emphasis is placed on self-discipline and concentration, making it an ideal art for children with problems in those areas.

These summer workshops are designed as an introduction for new students and a refresher for continuing students. Class will include a sitting meditation, a standing set of flowing qigong exercises, a Tai Chi walking exercise, and a demonstration of the 5-minute Yang 24 Bejing Tai Chi form.
This slower paced Tae Kwon Do class will have a strong emphasis on self-discipline, coordination and concentration... and, of course, fun. Students will learn Korean terminology, kicking and punching and basic self-defense. This class also provides a good foundation for their entry into the Beginners Tae Kwon Do program.

Rock Climbing Beginner
Learn the fundamentals of climbing: belaying, rope management, balance and form, hand and foot techniques, partner communication skills, environmental consideration and ethics.
This class is basically for kids just starting out and yearning to get their climbing career underway. We will provide the necessary tools and motivation to ensure that the students will have a positive experience. The basic elements of climbing; commands, technique, and confidence are the cornerstone of this class.
Instruction and basic movement & technique class. This is a progressive class that takes participants from the basic to the intermediate skills of climbing. Participants will learn harness and belay set up, top rope belay techniques, knots, movement on the rock, bouldering, safety skills, and goal setting. Upon successful completion of the belayers skill development program and belay test, climbers may progress to our Rock Solid Program.
This class is for tykes and a parent who are ready to rock climb. Encourage your child as you work together learning to climb.
Our newest Rock Climbing class is for those who are interested in participating in a new adventure. Children will learn the basics of climbing and climbing safety. All participants will wear a harness and helmet. The class will focus on bouldering which is climbing the wall horizontally and be introduced into climbing the wall vertically as they progress throughout the program.
Mountaineers is an introductory climbing class for that teaches the basics of climbing in a fun and safe setting. This class will educate climbers on basic climbing technique, gear setup, communication skills, and harness set-up and safety. Participants will use auto belay system and be belayed by instructor throughout the class. Climbers will set goals to achieve by the end of the session. Mountaineers exposes kids to the art of climbing while encouraging continued involvement and enjoyment of the sport.
Participants will learn the skills needed to become a successful climber and belayer. Focus will be on knot tying, equipment use and set-up, climbing communication/commands and techniques used for proper belaying.
This class is for participants who are beginners or who have mastered the basic climbing techniques from one of our previous classes and are looking to meet new people as well as continue to develop their climbing skills. Participants will learn to rappel, belay, use routes, master the high ropes and much more.
Skateboarding Beginner
This class is for the absolute beginner. Gain the confidence you'll need to start out in this far out sport. Learn to gain balance on your board and make turns. Ultimately, you will be able to go down on our ramps and use our fun box. Safety tips will be covered extensively. Helmets and knee pads are required in order to skate.

Participants must be able to front and back float independently and swim half the length of the pool. This class is for the more advanced beginner who is already comfortable in the water but, is ready to take it to the next step.

This innovative class is an introductory class for kids on exercise and healthy snacks. The instructor is fun and explodes with energy. This class will introduce all type of fitness to kids while making it fun. The instructor will end the class talking about healthy snacks. Each week a child will bring a healthy snack to share with the class.
Unsure of what to do when you're on the treadmill? Our instructors will take you through intervals, hills, sprints and more during the treadmill training!
The workshop will introduce you to our Ultimate S.E.T. (Strength/Endurance/Training) classes that are offered during regular sessions. Program focuses on continual movement integrating the entire body using "Functional Training". Class will target large muscles and use lighter workloads. Program focuses on continual movement integrating the entire body using "Functional Training". Class will target large muscles and use lighter workloads. This is a great cardio & strength workout all in one. Workshop will include proper tower set-up & usage along with take home cable workouts for you to do on your own. Class size is kept small!
