Adv Guides/Princesses-Fathers

Attention Dads and Kids ... Join the Club! Most of us lead very busy lives and often wonder how to fit in quality time with our kids. That is where the Adventure Guides & Princesses come in. This is a flexible program designed for Dads and kids to spend quality time together.

How does it work? You will join a "circle" of other families and friends from your neighborhood or school. A circle sets its own agenda. Circles typically meet once per month for a brief ceremony, games, crafts or even field trips.

Larger Federation-wide special events are offered monthly and are open to all program participants.

Special events include: Fall and Spring overnight camp outs in cabins or tents, A winter camp out in cabins complete with meals & activities, Late Night events at the Y, Christmas Caroling, Museum Overnights, Sporting events, Parades and more!

Trailblazers! This leadership program is designed to instill the four core values of the YMCA into graduates from Adventure Guides and Princesses. Trailblazers will take the lead on the critter hunt at camp outs, help with events at the Late Night and volunteer at other events. The program will also have some Trailblazer ONLY events & field trips.

"Pals Forever ... Friends Always" Adventure Guide/Princess programs have offered thousands of fathers and sons/daughters the opportunity to laugh, love, grow and learn together.

Early enrollment for this school year program is encouraged. For more information, visit our website at www.ymcachicago.org/threeowls or contact the Kroehler Family YMCA at 630.420.6270
