YMCA adult beginner swim lessons are designed for those with little or no swimming experience. Skills will include water acclimation and comfort, proper floating, breathing techniques, and basic swim strokes including front crawl, back crawl and elementary back stroke.

(Ages 6 Months to 3 Years) Our parent/child swim lessons will increase your child's self-confidence in and out of the water while keeping them safe. Parents and caregivers will learn how to supervise children in the water, how to prevent accidents and how to plan for emergencies. On the first day of class, instructors will determine the starting "stage" for your child and place them into the appropriate lesson group. From there, children progress at their own pace through the two parent/child stages.

Join the Greater LaGrange YMCA for a fun-filled day on your day off. We follow the District 95 school calendar. Meet at the Zion Lutheran Church at 7930 Ogden Ave, Lyons. Care is from 7am to 6pm. Bring a brown bag lunch unless otherwise indicated.
